Welcome to our own "escape on the lake".  We started our journey to lakeside living when our extended family rented a house in Deerfield in 2002.  We immediately fell in love with the resort, the lake and most importantly the opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends.  So much so... that we purchased our very own part of paradise.

Our home is set up to easily handle that large gathering of family and friends.  Our 5 bedrooms can accommodate 5 couples, each with their own bedroom with queen or full size beds.  We also have a queen size sleeper as well as two twin upper bunks, totally 14 people in beds!

But who wants to sleep when your at the lake!!!  The real fun is outside.  Our home has 3 separate decks overlooking a quiet cove on Norris Lake.  The community cove is just below containing a swim platform, jet ports and docks.  A perfect place to relax and just float around for the day.  A very short ride out of the cove and you're in the main channel with access to over 800 miles of shoreline to explore.  We are conveniently located close to several resorts/marinas to check out while enjoying a nice meal,

If the weather isn't cooperating our home has two separate family rooms and is well equipped with games (board games, card games, DVD, VCR, Video consoles and games-Nintendo64 and Dreamcast) to keep everyone occupied.  We have 3 children ourselves and generally a lot more with us while at the lake, so we know how important it is to keep everyone happy!!!

And just in case you were wondering.....  Yes our last name is really Claus, just like Santa!!!  We've taken this fact to tastefully personalize our home to include some of those touches from the man up North.  Thus the "Claus Haus" was born.

The home provides 4 stories of living space with off street parking for 3 vehicles.	The new swimmer's platform provides a lot of room to enjoy the cove. The Claus Haus also has a JetPort for your exclusive use. Across the cove (upper right) are the 18 community boat slips.

A look at the upstairs family room, complete with DVD, 32" TV, Stereo and an awesome view out the two story wall of windows.	The dining room has seating for up to 10 at large table, with an additional 4 settings at the kitchen bar. The decks provide table and chairs for 10.
The Master bedroom on the top level provides a queen size bed, dresser, walk-in closet and a master bath complete with shower stall & whirlpool bath.	The master bedroom loft has a great view over the downstairs dining room/family room area and of the cove below.
