Policies

House Rules:

	Maximum occupancy: 14 people over 3 years old.  Please no more than 3 children 3 years old and under if already at 14 capacity.
	No smoking inside the home and dispose of any cigarettes appropriately in trash (not over the deck or in the lawn, please!).
	Pets are only permitted with prior written owner approval and may require additional fees.
	Do not use a charcoal grill on the deck (use only in parking area well away from the house)
	Do not put the grill cover on the grill if it is still hot (yes someone has done it before...)
	Please report any damage or missing inventory within 3 hours of your arrival.  Any damage not reported could result in deduction from your security deposit.
	Garbage must be tied and bagged and placed near street at the end of your rental period.  Please ensure garbage cans are secured to the railing via the rope, so the cans don't blow away for the next guests.
	Laundry room pantry and basement storage areas are locked for OWNERS USE ONLY.  Do not attempt to enter these areas.
	Please take off any soiled or wet shoes before entering home.  The great TN soil does stain very easily.
	Please do not re-configure any audio/video electronics.  Both upper and lower level family rooms provide front A/V hook ups for your own video game consoles or camcorders.
	Please return all videos, console games, books, magazines to their proper place so future guests can enjoy them as well.
	Do not set AC temperature below 70 degrees nor heat above 70 degrees.  Please return the temperature to 75 degrees (summer) or 60 degrees (winter) when you depart.  Remember there are TWO thermostats (stair hall off kitchen and upstairs master bedroom).
	On street auto parking should be avoided and is very limited.  Our home provides parking for 3 average vehicles and can squeeze 4 if 2 of them are smaller.  Additional parking is available at the pool and marina/ramp areas.
	Absolutely NO Fireworks.
	A strict inventory of all house contents is taken after each rental.
	Do not use any oils or bubble soap in the master bedroom whirlpool tub.
	Check-in is 4pm.  You must call ahead of time to inquire about possible early check-in (possible if prior guest did not depart that same morning).  Please plan accordingly for any groceries you may be needing to refrigerate.  Check-out is at 10am.

Boat slip and cove rules:

	NO WAKE in the cove. Please be courteous to other boats tied to neighboring docks, by idling in and out of the cove, jet skis included.
	You are entitled to ONE boat slip and one jetport.  Please respect the other guests w/in the Deerwood Villas cove.  Please refer to dock map on refrigerator for assigned dockage.
	Long term docking at the swim platform is not permitted.  Boat docking on the swim platform should be limited to loading and unloading only.
	No trailer parking is permitted at the home.  A trailer permit may be obtained at the Deerfield Resort office or Deerfield Marina for a nominal fee (usually $5-$10/week).
	A Boat Ramp is available at Deerfield Marina, which you will pass as you enter the resort on the way to our home.  Boat launching and slip usage at the Mariana is VERY STRICT and not controlled by us.  Additional information regarding the ramp and Deerfield Marina is available by contacting Deerfield Cove Marina,    (423) 907-9755.
